Easter Cookies

A few days ago we discovered that a hare lives in our chestnut grove. In order not to make her feel alone, we decided to make these cookies - Easter bunnies.


250 g Chestnut flour
250 g of flour 00
1 egg and one yolk
150 grams of brown sugar
4 tablespoons of milk

1/2 sachet of baking powder


Sift the flours and add the sugar and yeast. Incorporate the soft butter, add the eggs one at a time and the milk. Wrap the dough in cling film and let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out the biscuits.

Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º.

Once cooled you can decorate with icing sugar .

To use them as a place marker at the table, simply make a small hole in each biscuit before baking them.
